Lime Hydrosol Workshop w/ Martha Burgess (Recorded Video) $25
Hydrosols are gently fragrant, water-based distillations that can be used in refreshing sprays, cosmetics, and aromatherapies. Using Mission Garden’s fragrant Mexican sweet lime fruits, this class teaches you principles and methods for making a hydrosol.

Our Mission Garden team gets so many questions about how we grow such healthy and productive heritage fruit trees and native trees that we’ve decided to host a workshop and answer them all. Some topics that we will cover include choosing varieties, location and planting, organic soil amendments and pest control, irrigation, pruning, and protection from extreme weather conditions. Mission Garden has heritage fruit trees of many varieties. Have you ever wondered how to grow new heritage fruit trees in your own yard? Every year in February Jesús García teaches how to grow new Kino Heritage Fruit Trees from the ones at the Garden. Learn about the amazing origins of the Garden's heritage trees, how to take cuttings, and how to root those cuttings to grow new trees. All class members will go home with some cuttings!
