Soil Health Presentation: Microorganisms in Mission Garden Soil
All are invited to a discussion about the role of microbes in soil health, the soil food web, and a closer look on the soil microorganisms that help Mission Garden grow. Community Visions of Tucson's Food Future: A Presentation and Discussion
Join Mission Garden for a presentation about Tucson’s designation as a City of Gastronomy by Drs. Ellen Platts and Eden Kinkaid. Ellen interned with Mission Garden for a year while she was collecting data for her dissertation. She and Eden, both recent PhDs, have been investigating what Tucson's Creative City of Gastronomy designation should mean for the city of Tucson and its residents, particularly in the area of social justice and community engagement.
