Come learn to make an Herbal First Aid Salve using plants from Mission Garden and the Sonoran Desert. Local Botanist Raven Gentner will share knowledge about some medicinal plants that grow in Mission Garden and their values. She will then teach you how to make potent herbal oil infusions and turn them into salves. Leave with a tin of your own salve!
This class will especially focus on creating a first aid salve with antimicrobial plants like creosote.
