Rudy Poe

Rudy is an experienced operations and facilities manager with a love for Mission Gardens' purpose, having helped design the Chinese garden during graduate school. With a background in project management, construction, and leadership development, Rudy has successfully designed community gardens and farms in Tucson, as well as large-scale water harvesting projects for homesteaders in Cochise County.

Bringing a systems-oriented mindset to his current role at Mission Garden, Rudy excels at optimizing workflows and resource management to create efficiency and ease. His leadership style is rooted in connection, feedback, and fostering a culture of growth and authenticity.

At Mission Garden, Rudy's goals include creating a clean, organized, and enjoyable work environment for staff and volunteers, while ensuring that maintenance tasks are consistently managed. Outside of work, Rudy enjoys dancing, fire spinning, climbing, and facilitating authentic relating events in Tucson, and activities that align with his passion for connection and community building.
