University of Arizona, American Indian Studies, Public Management and Policy: Public Administration

Ronita is the Program and Visitor Evaluation Intern at Mission Garden. Ronita was raised on the Fort Apache Reservation, in eastern Arizona. She is an enrolled member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe. Ronita received her Associates in Liberal Arts from Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas. She is an undergraduate studying at the University of Arizona and is majoring in American Indian Studies and Public Management and Policy and emphasis in Public Administration.  She also works as a Student Project Assistant/Student Supervisor with Native Nations Institute. Her ultimate goal is to go back home and be a tribal leader for the White Mountain Apache Tribe.

In her free time, she enjoys helping or being at community events back home, beading, hiking, fishing, and running outdoors.
