N’Dea Walker
N’Dea Walker (pronounced like En Dee ah) enjoys reading, singing, dancing, cooking, traveling, video games, movies, fashion, and crafting. She finished her Master's in Human Rights Practice in May of 2024 from The University of Arizona and her BS in Interdisciplinary Studies at Excelsior University back in 2018. N’Dea then pursued a modeling career for 5 years. She traveled around the country to walk in fashion shows, did photoshoots for clothing and makeup brands, and performed in a few music videos. She took a break from modeling in 2022 and focused more on community and issues that were presented in it. She became passionate about a lot of causes and is now pursuing a PhD in Human Services for eradication of femicides.
N’Dea comes from a family of green thumbs and has grown various trees and plants over the years. She also worked for AmeriCorps in 2023 and was assigned to Tucson Clean and Beautiful. Within that program, she did land stewardship projects (i.e., hosting city cleanup events, planting trees, removing invasive species from our native plants, etc.) and became familiar with the city council and representatives. N’Dea enjoyed being an environmentalist, although she wanted to do more work as a humanitarian. N’Dea wants to continue her research while also being a valuable member of the non-profits in my community. N’Dea hopes to be able to start or manage her own one day.
