An Archaeological View of Human History at Tucson’s Birthplace

Historical archaeologist Homer Thiel (Desert Archaeology) and experimental archaeologist Allen Denoyer (Archaeology Southwest) are both intimately familiar with Mission Garden and the larger Clearwater Archaeological Site, of which the garden is a part. They will both speak and take questions about the deep history of this area and what specifically was learned in excavations here in 2007-8. (Click photo for event details)
