Dragonfly Day

At Mission Garden, Acequia and Threshing Ground area
Event and dragonfly tours are FREE.
All monetary gifts to Mission Garden are appreciated. Your gifts help the garden grow.

*Visit information tables between 9am & noon. Fifteen spaces are available at each of two dragonfly tours, at 9am and 10:30am. The event and tours are free but register for the tours at the links below.

Representatives of Sonoran Institute and Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation come together with Mission Garden to educate about dragonflies as well as other lifeforms inhabiting Mission Garden’s acequia (canal). Join Jeff Babson from Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation for a tour at 9am or another tour at 10:30am. Tours are free but register at Sonoran Institute (https://sonoraninstitute.org/events/dragonfly23/ or button above). Discover the dragonflies thriving along Mission Garden’s acequia and about how quickly they have re-inhabited places along the Santa Cruz River with perennial flow.
