Agave Planting with Bat Conservation International and Borderlands Restoration Network - 2021

In February 2021, Mission Garden hosted an agave planting event with Bat Conservation International and Borderlands Restoration Network as part of an effort to maintain agave populations for nectar-feeding bats which migrate through the area. This partnership between the nocturnal nectar producing agave, and the nocturnal nectar-feeding bats helps both species flourish in the Sonoran Desert.
