Abby Rhinehart

Abby Rhinehart is the event and education programs coordinator at Mission Garden, where she manages public and private events, works with field trip groups, and helps run the garden’s kitchen. Abby is passionate about creating meaningful, equitable opportunities for environmental education.

Abby has worked in science education communications and research for the University of Washington and University of Alaska Anchorage. Before that, she was an educator at the Washington State History Museum and National Park Service. In 2018, she earned a M.A. in museum studies from the University of Washington with a specialization in evaluation. She also works as an external evaluator for out-of-school and science education projects.

Abby spends her spare time backpacking in the Sky Islands, learning about plants, and pottery. She is obsessed with her dog, Taco.
